Sumit Bengali has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. CA Sumit started their career at ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited in 2005 as a Manager in Customer Service. CA Sumit then moved to CRISIL, where they worked as a Manager in Corporate & Infrastructure Ratings. In 2007, they joined Gujarat Gas Limited and held various positions, including Associate Manager in Strategy & Planning, Deputy Manager in Strategy & Planning, Manager in Strategy & Planning, and Manager in Corporate Accounts & Treasury. CA Sumit later served as the Manager in Corporate Finance and then as the Associate Vice President in Corporate Finance, reporting to the CFO. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Vice President in Commercial, reporting to the Head of Commercial at Gujarat Gas Limited.

CA Sumit Bengali completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounts & Audit from HL College of Commerce from 1998 to 2001. CA Sumit then pursued their C.A. (Chartered Accountancy) degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1998 to 2002. Later, they attended Nirma Institute of Management from 2003 to 2005 and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a specialization in Finance.
