Waqas Akhtar

Waqas Akhtar is an experienced finance professional with a progression of roles in financial management across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Deputy General Manager at Ideas Private Limited since October 2014, Waqas specializes in preparing financial reports, analyzing costs, and establishing sales strategies using Power BI. Previously held the position of Deputy Manager Finance at Sana Safinaz Fashion Resources, where Waqas managed financial reporting and implemented SAP Business One for improved financial operations. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Manager Finance at Feroze1888 Mills Ltd, focusing on budgeting and costing reports. Waqas started the career as a Management Trainee after a brief internship at Citi. Waqas holds an ACMA degree in Management Accounting from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan and a Bachelor of Commerce from Karachi University.
