Waleed Mandani

Waleed Mandani serves as the Acting Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Gulf Bank since September 2021. Previously, Waleed held leadership roles at Kuwait Finance House from January 2015 to February 2021 as Group Chief Retail & Private Banking Officer and Group General Manager Private Banking. Prior experience includes a position as CEO of Wealth Management at BNP Paribas from September 2005 to January 2015, and Senior Manager of Private Banking at Ahli United Bank from June 2001 to June 2005. Waleed also worked as Head of Corporate Sales in Treasury & Capital Markets at National Investment Company from March 1998 to May 2001 and as a Treasury Officer at National Bank of Kuwait from February 1993 to February 1997. Waleed's educational background includes an Executive Certificate in Leading Change & Organizational Renewal from Harvard University, an Executive Program in Decision-Making Under Uncertainty & Risk from Harvard Kennedy School, and an Executive Program in Project Management & Leadership from Cornell University, coupled with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Arizona.
