Kevin Shipley started their career in 1999 as an Arena Coordinator at Lee College. Kevin then worked at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church as a Director of Youth Ministry & High School Faith Formation from 2000 to 2013. In 2006, they joined Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center as the Manager of Donor Recruitment and later became the Director of Donor Recruitment in 2017.
Kevin Shipley obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Technology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2006-2008. Kevin also obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university. Our mission: To partner with the community to help save and sustain lives by providing a safe supply of blood, blood components and related services. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center began operations, independent of the Harris County Medical Society on Jan. 1, 1975. Today, recognized worldwide for its quality assurance programming, state-of-the-art technologies and management expertise, The Blood Center has grown to more than 700 employees and serves more than 170 hospitals and health care institutions in the 26-county Texas Gulf Coast, Brazos Valley and East Texas regions. To meet the needs of the area community, The Blood Center must collect about 1,000 donations every day. That is why The Blood Center encourages individuals to Commit for Life, a partnership between the community and Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center that is focused on saving lives, today and in the future. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is a nonprofit, independent blood center that is not affiliated with the American Red Cross.
