Lori Driscoll

Executive Director, Online Learning & Library Services at Gulf Coast State College

Lori Driscoll has extensive work experience in the library services field. Lori began their career in 1998 as a Medical Reference Librarian/Webmaster at the University of Florida's Health Science Center Library. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as the Coordinator of Library Access Services at Santa Fe College. Lori then returned to the University of Florida, where they served as Chair of Access Services for the University Libraries from 2001 to 2009. Since 2009, Lori has been employed at Gulf Coast State College, first as the Director of Library Services and currently as the Executive Director of Online Learning & Library Services.

Lori Driscoll's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Florida in 1991. Lori later received a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Florida State University in 1998. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Learning Design and Performance Technology at Florida State University (2020-2023). Additionally, Lori Driscoll has obtained various certifications, such as being a QM-Certified Higher Education Peer Reviewer, a QM-Certified Designing Your Online Course Face-to-Face Facilitator, and a QM-Certified Improving Your Online Course Face-to-Face Facilitator.
