Taha Jassim

Taha Jassim serves as the Vice President and Head of IT Strategy & Governance at Gulf International Bank since January 2012, where responsibilities include driving the IT strategy formulation, overseeing digital transformation initiatives, establishing IT governance models, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Taha held previous roles at Gulf International Bank, such as Vice President of Planning and Reporting and IT PMO Program Manager, facilitating significant projects like the IT transformation for GIB. Prior experience includes positions at Orbit, Investors Bank, Erad International, and Arabian Network Information Services, with a focus on IT operations, project management, and system development. Taha holds a Master’s Degree in Software Engineering from AMA International University of Bahrain and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Bahrain.
