Mohamed Hossam has extensive work experience in the marine industry, with roles spanning from 2009 to the present. Their most recent position is as a Chief Officer/SDPO at Gulf Marine Services PLC in Abu Dhabi, where they work on a Jack-up barge chartered by ADNOC for maintenance projects in offshore oilfields. Prior to this, they worked with SEACOR Holdings Inc. in Dubai from 2016 to 2021, serving as a Chief Officer/SDPO on a Jack-up barge chartered by ARAMCO and a DSV DP2 vessel chartered by GUPCO for various projects in offshore oilfields. Mohamed also worked with BOURBON in Dubai from 2013 to 2016 as a Chief Officer/DPO on an AHTS DP2 vessel chartered by ESNAAD/ZADCO for rig services in Abu Dhabi offshore oilfields. Before that, they worked with NPCC in Abu Dhabi from 2010 to 2013, holding the position of Chief Officer on various vessels used for towing, heavy lifting, and construction activities in offshore oilfields. Mohamed began their career with Milaha (Qatar Navigation) in 2009 and 2010, working as a 2nd Officer/navigation officer on container vessels and bulk carriers. Throughout their career, Mohamed has been responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, overseeing stability and load calculations, and performing watchkeeping duties.
Mohamed Hossam's education history begins in 1996 when they attended El Shahid Riaad Standard School for their secondary education. Mohamed completed their studies there in 1999.
In 2002, Mohamed Hossam enrolled at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, where they pursued a Master Navigation license. Mohamed remained at the academy until 2014, when they successfully completed their degree in Marine Science/Merchant Marine Officer.
