Stephen Kersley has an extensive work experience in finance and management roles. Stephen is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Gulf Marine Services PLC since May 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Tervita Corporation from August 2015 to May 2017. From May 2011 to December 2014, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at TAQA, an Abu Dhabi-based energy company. From January 2000 to February 2003, they held the role of VP Finance for Exploration and Production in the Middle East and Former Soviet Union.

Stephen began their career as a Supervising Senior in the Audit Practice at KPMG from September 1982 to December 1985.

Stephen Kersley attended the University of Birmingham from 1979 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to attend the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants) from 1982 to 1984, pursuing the ACA (Chartered Accountant) qualification.
