Jeff Bate

Jeff first joined GMRI in 2016 as the Project Manager of the NASA-funded Real World, Real Science project.

In his current role as a Senior Product Manager, he is responsible for the design and development of interactive education experiences, both in person and virtual, for a range of GMRI’s audiences. Prior to joining GMRI, Jeff held product management and operations roles for several cleantech companies, including EnerNOC, OptiRTC, and Banyan Water. In these roles, Jeff managed the design and development of real-time monitoring and control platforms to enable smarter water and energy use decisions.

Jeff received his A.B. in Geography, with a minor in Environmental Studies, from Dartmouth College. He also has an M.S. in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from Tufts University, where his research focused on watershed systems modeling.
