Deshen K. currently serves as the Head of Financial Planning in the CFO Office at Gulf Oil International Group, overseeing board-level consolidation and reporting of financial statements for a global corporate structure with multibillion-dollar revenues since September 2021. Previously, Deshen held roles in the CEO Office where leadership in business set-up for a $5M project in Turkey was achieved. Prior experience includes serving as a Strategy Operations Project Management Consultant at DuPont from 2019 to 2021, where competitive strategies were developed for a national client in Oman, and as a Strategic Technology Innovation Leader at Sasol from 2010 to December 2017, focusing on business development and market trend analysis. Deshen earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering & Chemistry from Eindhoven University of Technology and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.
