Shreejit Kar

Shreejit Kar is an experienced professional in the industrial sales sector, currently serving as the Distributor Business Head for Gulf Oil since October 2019, after previously holding the position of Regional Sales Manager. Prior to Gulf Oil, Shreejit was with Vopak from June 2017 to October 2019 as a Commercial Manager, playing a crucial role in shaping sustainability and growth strategies at Kandla Port and leading the sales team. Shreejit’s extensive experience includes a tenure at Shell from August 2008 to June 2017, where roles included Regional Sales Manager and Business Development Manager, achieving significant business turnover and managing key accounts. Earlier positions include Application Specialist at Larsen & Toubro and Mechanical Engineer at Vardhman Spinning Mills. Education was completed at the National Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2001 to 2005.
