Gregory Gathy

Gregory Gathy is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in applied aerodynamics and flight testing. Currently serving as an Applied Aerodynamics Technical Specialist and Flight Test Engineer at Gulfstream Aerospace since February 2021, Gathy has previously held various engineering positions within the same company, including Technical Specialist from May 2017 to May 2020. Gathy's expertise includes the application of advanced computational tools such as USM3D, FUN3D, and Matlab in a Linux environment on HPC clusters. Prior experience includes a Senior Engineer role at General Dynamics and research involvement at the University of Michigan, where Gathy contributed to studies on panel flutter in aerospace applications. Gathy holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
