Mitchell Townsend

Mitchell Townsend is an accomplished Experimental Test Engineer and Project Manager at Gulfstream Aerospace, with over a decade of experience in full-scale aircraft testing. Since January 2011, significant contributions include leading the G500 and G650 full-scale testing programs, achieving major milestones in certification and fatigue testing, and developing innovative testing processes that enhanced safety and efficiency. Townsend's expertise spans a variety of roles, including management of large-scale projects such as the Flammability Lab, and leading designs for test fixtures. Prior internships included structural testing support for G650 and risk assessment roles at Orbital ATK, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University.
