Peter McArthur

Peter McArthur has worked in the technology industry since 2000. Peter started as a Developer at NNI, where they built large web-apps for marketing firms, social services agencies, and legal services agencies using PHP and PostgreSQL on Linux. In 2007, they joined Vimeo as VP Technology, then VP Backend Engineering, and finally Director of Backend Engineering. In 2017, they became self-employed as a Software Engineer, student, and writer. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Gumball as VP Engineering at Headgum.

Peter McArthur attended The New School from 2019 to 2024, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.
