Patricia Balacek

Patricia Balacek has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Patricia is currently working at Gundersen Health System as the Director of Strategy, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Consultant of Strategy at the same company, starting in January 2022.

Before joining Gundersen Health System, Patricia worked at Western Technical College - Company. Patricia served as the Director of Regional Workforce Development from May 2019 to October 2021. Prior to that, they were the Dean of Workforce and Economic Development from September 2006 to May 2019. In this role, they oversaw all consulting and customized services provided to businesses and non-credit or non-degree offerings by the college.

Their earlier experience includes working as the Sales and Marketing Manager at Computerised Business Systems, Inc. from January 2005 to September 2006. Additionally, they served as the National Training Manager at Minnesota Electrical Association/Electrical Training Network from February 1999 to January 2004.

Patricia Balacek attended Sector Skills Academy from 2010 to 2011, but did not receive a degree or specify a field of study. Patricia then pursued a Masters degree in Training and Performance Improvement from Capella University from 2008 to 2011. In 1987 to 1991, Patricia earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English/Math/Secondary Education from the University of Minnesota Morris.
