Ibrahim Elshamy

Ibrahim Elshamy is a Senior Corporate Associate at Gunderson Dettmer, specializing in legal counsel for entrepreneurs, startups, and venture capital investors. In addition to this role, Ibrahim serves as a volunteer with the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights, providing pro bono legal services to low-income small business owners. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Legal at Karat, and volunteering with Pledge 1%, where responsibility included revising a charitable equity pledge playbook for technology companies. Ibrahim has also held roles as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford Law School and Program Coordinator for Project ReMADE, and has been involved in various legal and outreach activities, including work with the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Seas of Peace.
