Jesse Birbach

Jesse Birbach is a Partner at Gunderson Dettmer, where extensive experience includes providing legal counsel to early-stage technology companies on data privacy and intellectual property issues, as well as negotiating commercial contracts. Prior involvement as a Steering Committee Member for Stanford Law Veteran Alumni focused on promoting initiatives that benefit the veteran community. Jesse served as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy, where responsibilities included advocating for submarine budget equity and leading strategic deterrent patrols. Education credentials encompass a Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School, a Program Management certification from Defense Acquisition University, and a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
