Miklos Orban has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Miklos is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer and Managing Partner for the law firm gunnercooke LLP and gunnercooke CEE (OPL gunnercooke), respectively. Miklos is also the CEO of Explico CEE and a Visiting Professor in Practice in Law and Technology at the University of Surrey. In addition to these roles, they co-founded LEXITUP and served as a Partner at OPL Attorneys. Prior to that, they held positions at BT as the Head of Regulatory and Governmental Affairs, CEE & Russia/CIS, and at Lovells and Allen & Overy as an Associate and Lawyer, respectively.

Miklos Orban completed their Bachelor of Laws (JD) at Eötvös Loránd University from 1994 to 1999. Miklos then pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) in telecoms regulation at Georgetown University Law Center from 2000 to 2001. Currently, Miklos Orban is undertaking a PhD in law at Eötvös Loránd University, starting in 2001. Additionally, Miklos Orban is an IAS Fellow in Legal tech and legal innovation at the University of Surrey, from 2021 to 2022.
