Alex S.

Alex S. has a diverse work experience starting in 2005 as a Whitewater Rafting Guide at River and Trail Outfitters. In 2007, they worked as a Marketing Intern at IDL Solutions, a Healthcare IT company. From 2010 to 2014, Alex was a Membership and Communications Coordinator at Food Processing Suppliers Association. In 2015, they became the Board Vice-Chair, Social Media at Young AFCEA Bethesda, a network for young professionals in the IT industry.

Starting in 2014, Alex joined CENTERPOINT LLC, initially as a Business Development Associate, working closely with the executive team to develop the company's vision and strategy. They then served as an Associate Director, leading initiatives in marketing, business development, and press releases. From 2016 to 2021, they held the role of Director of Business Operations, supporting various business initiatives. Finally, Alex became the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at CENTERPOINT LLC from 2021 to 2022.

Currently, Alex is the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Gunnison Consulting Group, Inc. They lead recruiting efforts for different projects and programs, both government and corporate, in the digital services, cybersecurity, and intelligence and automation fields.

Alex S. completed their high school education at Saint James School from 2001 to 2006, earning a High School Diploma. They then went on to attend the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing. In 2017, Alex S. pursued further education at the Rochester Institute of Technology, completing a Certificate in Cybersecurity (RITx) in 2018.
