Richard Bufton, PMP

Richard Bufton, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Richard started their career in the US Army in 2003, serving in various managerial positions related to vehicle maintenance and training until 2011. Richard then transitioned to the US Army Reserve, where they served as a Sergeant First Class until 2019. In 2012, Richard joined Academy Sports + Outdoors as a Senior Team Lead until 2014.

From 2014 to 2017, Richard worked at SecurAmerica, progressing from a Corporate Security Officer to Assistant Director of Security and eventually Account Manager/ Director of Security. Richard further expanded their skillset as a School Bus Manager at Gwinnett County Public Schools from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, Richard took on the role of a Logistics Network Analyst at Xator Corporation and later joined CENTERPOINT Inc. as an Asset Manager.
