Brett Bruce, JD has a diverse work experience spanning several healthcare organizations. Starting in 1995, they worked as an Interventional & Weekend Technologist at Abilene Regional Medical Center until 2001. Following that, they joined United Regional Health Care System as a Lead Technologist for two years. In 2003, Brett joined Electra Memorial Hospital, where they initially worked as a CT Technologist before being promoted to the role of Director of Radiology in 2011. In 2018, they moved to Gunnison Valley Hospital, where they held the positions of Director of Imaging Services and Director of Imaging, Cardiopulmonary, Respiratory Therapy & Polysomnography Services. Most recently, in 2022, Brett started working as an Expert Advisor at Guidepoint.
Brett Bruce, JD holds a Juris Doctorate degree in Law from Taft Law School, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Radiologic Administration from Midwestern State University, studying from 2011 to 2013. Brett also has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Radiological Sciences from Midwestern State University, achieved in 2000, and an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Radiography from the same institution, earned from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, Brett has various certifications in the field of radiology, such as Certification in Computed Tomography and Certification in Diagnostic Radiology (DR), obtained from reputable institutions.

Board certified Emergency Room Physicians staff the (ER) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. General surgery, orthopedic, and OB/GYN consultants are available on an on-call basis. The ER department is supplied with the advanced equipment necessary to meet the demands of any patient with ailments ranging from bronchitis to multi-system trauma. St. Mary's CareFlight offers flight for life helicopter services to Gunnison Valley Hospital. Although it is not just a hospital, it is a fully integrated health system that includes almost every aspect of healthcare.
