Jason Amrich has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Jason currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Gunnison Valley Health. Prior to this role, they held various positions at UCHealth, including Vice President of Operations for Longs Peak Hospital, Broomfield Hospital, and Longs Peak Surgery Center. Jason also worked as the Senior Director for Orthopedics & Rehabilitation Services at UCHealth. Jason began their career as a Physical Therapist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Jason has a strong background in operations, strategic planning, program development, and staff management.

Jason Amrich attended Leadership Boulder County in 2011, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. From 2008 to 2010, they obtained an MBA in Health Administration from the University of Colorado Denver. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1997, they earned a B.S. in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University. In addition, Jason has obtained several certifications including LEAN GREEN BELT for Health Care from the University of Colorado Health Northern Colorado in 2016, United Way of Larimer County Board Bank Training from the United Way of Larimer County in 2016, and FACHE - Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives from the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2015.

Gunnison Valley Health is the sole community-owned health system for Gunnison County and the surrounding areas. The ER department is supplied with the advanced equipment necessary to meet the demands of any patient with ailments ranging from bronchitis to multi-system trauma. St. Mary's CareFlight offers flight for life helicopter services to Gunnison Valley Hospital. Although it is not just a hospital, it is a fully integrated health system that includes almost every aspect of healthcare.
