Cindy McKee

Cindy McKee is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Strategic Planning and Operations for Santa Fe County since November 2021. In addition, Cindy is the Principal and Communications Specialist at Key Communication, LLC, where responsibilities include developing communication plans for small businesses and nonprofits. As a half-time administrator and educator at Gunnison Watershed School District RE1J since June 2017, Cindy also teaches at Western State Colorado University within the Teacher Institute. With a diverse background that includes over a decade as an educator, as well as previous roles as Director of Alumni Relations at Western State Colorado University and Executive Director of the Center for Business Education at the University of Colorado Boulder, Cindy holds multiple degrees and certifications, including a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Arizona and principal licensure in Education Leadership from Western Colorado University.
