Jeff Rask is currently a Senior Consultant at Gunter Group. Prior to that, they were with Nike for 4 years, from March 2016 to October 2020, as the Footwear Development Director. In that role, they were responsible for driving the development of over $1.4b worth of Nike footwear revenue, including the largest by-volume running and basketball shoes in the world.
Jeff managed a diverse, cross-functional team and provided semi-annual performance reviews, quarterly workload assignments, project resourcing support, and project management direction. Jeff also partnered with Asia and Nike Headquarters teammates to source development and production across 9 Product Creation centers and 34 footwear factories. Additionally, they partnered with Nike Kids Footwear leadership team to construct separate strategic sustainability and innovation 3-year roadmaps.
Jeff sponsored multiple Kids Footwear sustainability initiatives, including toe stuffing removal, increased regrind usage, recycled polyester material, and reduced ink usage. Jeff also guided their team through the COVID-19 work-from-home transition, installing checkpoints and initiatives that ensured continued productivity and protected each teammate, Nike product, and the Nike brand.
Jeff Rask has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University, a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Oregon, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Portland. Jeff also has certification from Portland State University’s Center for Executive and Professional Education in Project Management and from Simplilearn in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB).
