Elsa Pernot

Elsa Pernot serves as the Global Head of Ethics & Sustainability and Group HSEC Director at Gunvor Group Ltd since December 2019. Previously, Elsa held various positions at Petrofac from January 2014 to December 2019, including Head of Safety, Director, and HSSEAI System Manager, where a management system was developed and implemented that reduced incident rates by 70% over three years. At Accenture from 2008 to 2013, Elsa managed the development of a safety culture program resulting in 50 million worked hours without incidents for an Oil & Gas project in the Republic of Congo. Earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant at KPMG Sustainability from 2006 to 2008, focusing on non-financial reporting systems and sustainability strategies for major French companies. Elsa holds degrees in Civil Engineering and Environmental Science from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne and the University of New Brunswick.
