Ioannis Filiopoulos

Ioannis Filiopoulos is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving at METRON energy applications since December 2006, focusing on biofuels and renewable energy projects for Gunvor Group Ltd. Previously, Ioannis held roles such as N. Greece Branch Office Director, overseeing EPC oil and gas contract management and biodiesel plant business development. Ioannis has also worked as Supervision Head for DEPA Projects at PANEM.S.A. and as Site Project Manager for the EXXON-Mobil Fuel Depot Revamping Terminal at KINTEC S.A. Ioannis's earlier experience includes management positions at BP, where Ioannis was responsible for the Thessaloniki Fuel Terminal and served as the engineering coordinator for fuel terminals in Greece. Ioannis holds an MSC in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
