The Principle Investment segment is engaged in equity and direct investment, treasury operations, as well as trading and strategic investment. The Property Development and Investment segment is engaged in the development of residential and commercial properties in Singapore, China, Malaysia, Vietnam and Hong Kong. The Hospitality and Leisure segment is engaged in the leasing and management of hotels, as well as gaming and leisure businesses in Britain, Spain and Belgium. The Financial Services segment is engaged in commercial and consumer banking, Islamic banking, investment banking, life and general insurance, Takaful insurance, fund management and unit trust, stock and commodities brokerage, bullion trading and the provision of corporate advisory services. The Oil and Gas segment is engaged in oil trust.
