Chris Z

Chris Z has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Chris is currently the Head of Legal and Compliance at Guotai Junan International since May 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Compliance and Senior Legal Counsel at the same company from 2017 to 2021. Before joining Guotai Junan International, Chris worked as a Vice President in Legal at Barclays Investment Bank from 2014 to 2017, and as an Associate Director in Legal at UBS from 2011 to 2014. Their career started at Linklaters, where they worked as an Associate from 2005 to 2011.

Chris Z completed a Master's degree in Law from Sun Yat-sen University from 1996 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a degree in Law at the College of Law, Guildford from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in English Law (CPE). Lastly, they attended The University of Hong Kong from 2004 to 2005, where they completed a Professional Certificate in Law (PCLL).
