Sabina Szabó

Sabina Szabó has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sabina started their career as an Alumni Relations Manager at CEMS Club Dublin in 2014. Later that year, they worked as a Brand Marketing Intern at SABMiller - Plzeňský Prazdroj and as the Head of Corporate Relations at CEMS Club Prague.

In 2015, Sabina joined Henkel as an International Brand Management Intern at the Global Headquarters before moving on to Rocket Internet SE, where they led the rollout of a new B2B online platform in Thailand for Foodpanda.

From 2016 to 2018, Sabina worked at Rohlik.cz as a Business Development & E-commerce Project Manager, responsible for the company's end-to-end online grocery retail operations in Czech Republic.

Subsequently, they served as the Country Manager for GLAMI Turkey from 2018 to 2019, leading the launch of the fashion e-commerce platform in Turkey and managing a team of digital marketing and tech sales specialists.

Sabina then took on the role of Head of International Markets at ASTRATEX s.r.o. from 2019 to 2020, where they were responsible for the growth and development of eight markets in Central and Southeast Europe.

In 2020, Sabina took a career break to focus on self-development and relocation to Vienna, Austria. During this time, they arranged all matters concerning their relocation and improved their German language skills through various courses and reading.

Most recently, Sabina joined gurkerl.at in 2021 as a Business Development Manager, where they are currently employed.

Sabina Szabó began their education at Prague University of Economics and Business, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from 2010 to 2013. Sabina then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in International Management at the same institution from 2013 to 2016. As part of their Master's program, they also studied at CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education and UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, where they completed a CEMS Master's in International Management in 2014. In addition, they obtained a Master's degree in CEMS MIM International Management from Prague University of Economics and Business during the same period.
