Tom Mazzone has a long and varied career in technology management and process improvement. Tom began their career in 1992 as a Senior Consultant at Lucas, McPhee. In 1993, they moved to A.T. Kearney as a Managing Consultant. In 1996, they joined Fidelity Investments as Vice President of Business Solutions and Program Office, and then held various other roles including Vice President of Program Management, Director of Business Planning & Analysis, and Director of Client Service Design. In 2010, they joined Citizens Bank as Senior Vice President, Head of Continuous Improvement and Business Transformation. In 2014, they became a Founding Member of the International Association of Innovation Professionals and Co-chair of the Idea Generation Working Group. In 2015, they joined Leveredge Consulting as Principal Consultant of Technology Management and Process Reengineering. In 2018, they joined Gurnet Consulting as a Technology Program Management and Business Process Improvement consultant, and also became an Adjunct Professor at Stonehill College and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Finally, they joined NYU Tandon School of Engineering as an Industry Associate Professor and Academic Director of the Industrial Engineering Program.
Tom Mazzone has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, a Master's Degree in Marketing and International Business from The University of Auckland, and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategy, Innovation and Information Technology from EDHEC Business School. Tom also holds a Certified Public Accountant certification from the RI Board of Accountancy.
