Brian Rigley, MISM

Brian Rigley has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Brian is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at Gurobi Optimization since February 2023. Previously, from December 2021 to November 2022, Brian worked as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Venafi, where they were a part of a small R&D team supporting infrastructure growth and maturing. Before that, from October 2020 to December 2021, they served as a Principal Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Deltek, where they designed, implemented, and maintained cloud infrastructure in AWS GovCloud.

Brian also has experience working with Oracle, where they held the role of Principal System Administrator in the Managed Cloud Services organization from September 2013 to August 2020. In this position, they provided production data center support and maintained security clearance for supporting federal environments. Prior to Oracle, from February 2013 to September 2013, Brian worked as a Senior Application SystemTech Analyst at Intermountain Healthcare, where they supported and matured the FileNet P8 5.1 environment.

In addition, Brian has experience at Data Intensity as a Manager of Business Continuity Engineering from November 2011 to November 2012. Brian reviewed and improved business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and managed the growth and supportability of the Salt Lake City DR data center. Prior to that, Brian worked at Oracle as an IT Infrastructure Services and IT Server Operations Senior Engineer from 2001 to 2011, where they led IT projects, defined company-wide standards, and provided support for backup infrastructure and Windows servers.

Brian's early work experience includes a role as an Engineering Lab Coordinator and Network Administrator at Salt Lake Community College from 1995 to 2000. Brian managed employees, set up and supported computers, and installed/maintained software and hardware.

Brian Rigley's educational background includes a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems Management, which they obtained from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University between 2007 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology at the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2005.
