Jerome Yurchisin has a long history of work experience in the field of mathematics and data science. Jerome began their career in 2005 as a Graduate Instructor for the Ohio University Department of Mathematics. Jerome then moved on to become an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor at Cuyahoga Community College in 2007, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009. In 2010, Jerome started their own business, Math With Jerome, as a Mathematics and Statistics Tutor. Jerome continued to work as a Sports Data Analyst for Math With Jerome until 2018. In 2013, Jerome joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Mathematician & Data Scientist. In 2020, Jerome took on roles as a Fantasy Football and Betting Contributor for numberFire (acquired by FanDuel) and a Senior Consultant for OnLocation, Inc. Most recently, Jerome has been working as a Data Science Strategist for Gurobi Optimization since 2021.

Jerome Yurchisin obtained their Bachelor of Education - BEd in Integrated Mathematics from Ohio University between 2001 and 2005. Jerome then went on to receive their Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Ohio University between 2005 and 2007. In 2009, they completed their Master's Degree in Operations Research and Statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to their formal education, Jerome has obtained a number of certifications from institutions such as MIT xPRO, DataCamp, MIT Sloan School of Management, Udemay, and Coursera.
