Juan-Carlos Mani

Juan-Carlos Mani has a wealth of experience in the field of prescriptive analytics and operations. Juan-Carlos began their career in 1986 at Ciba-Geigy, where they held various positions in process development, modelling and simulation, analytics, engineering and production. In 1995, they joined Aspen Technology as Director of Business Development & Pre-Sales Consulting. From 2000 to 2005, they worked at i2 Technologies as Global Industry Director of Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals. Mani then moved to Honeywell Process Solutions in 2008, taking on the role of General Manager of Advanced Solutions Asia-Pacific. In 2010, they were appointed Vice President of General Process Engineering at Process Systems Enterprise. From 2013 to 2015, they were Vice President of Sales Europe at Elemica International. In 2015, they joined Trufa (which was subsequently acquired by Deloitte Digital) as Vice President of Europe. Most recently, Mani has been working as Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Gurobi Optimization, where they help companies make better decisions through the use of prescriptive analytics.

Juan-Carlos Mani attended the Basel Institute of Technology in Switzerland from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a University Diploma in Chemical Engineering. Juan-Carlos then attended the International School of Management in Paris and New York from 2003 to 2005, where they completed Doctorate Courses in Business Administration with a focus on Strategy, International Business Law, Corporate Finance, and International Management.
