Maria L. Franco

Maria L. Franco, PharmD, BCGP, serves as the Chief Pharmacy Officer and Director of Pharmacy at Gurwin Healthcare System since October 2018. As an Independent Business Owner of Benepharm Consulting, LLC since September 2005, Maria provides consulting services to long-term care facilities. Maria also holds the position of President at All Saints Mercy House, Inc., a nonprofit for the terminally ill, since June 2017. Additionally, Maria works as a Consultant Pharmacist for PROMEDCARE Solutions and previously for RXIII ASSOCIATES, providing monthly drug regimen reviews and clinical support for assisted living and nursing facilities. Previous roles include Staff Pharmacist at NYU Winthrop Hospital and Clinical Specialist at The Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare. Maria earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John's University and is a former adjunct faculty member overseeing pharmacy students.
