Alastair Benham

Alastair Benham currently serves as Head of Wine Operations at Gusbourne, with a career progression that includes roles as Winery Manager, Production Winemaker, Assistant Winemaker, and Winery Assistant since April 2018. Prior experience includes working as a Cellar Hand at Stone Hill Winery from May 2017 to April 2018, and earlier as a Cellar Hand at Alpha Domus Wine Estate in early 2016. Alastair also held the position of Assistant Manager at The Stone Trough Inn from May to December 2015. Alastair's education includes pursuing an MBA at Alliance Manchester Business School, a Graduate Diploma in Viticulture and Oenology from Eastern Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Keele University and Macquarie University. Additional qualifications include Level 2 and Level 3 certifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, as well as A Levels from St Peter's School in York.
