Shawn Grodensky has held various culinary roles over the course of their career. Shawn started as a Sous Chef at The Flying Dutchman from 1998 to 2008. Shawn then worked as an Executive Sous Chef at Blue Apron Restaurant and Red Rooster Bar from 2010 to 2012. In 2013, they joined River and Rail Restaurant as a Chef Garde Manger/Pastry Chef until October, when they became an Executive Sous Chef at The General Muir. In 2014, they joined gusto! fresh bowls & wraps as a Kitchen Leader and later became the Culinary Director. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Chef - Director of Culinary & Menu Strategy at gusto! fresh bowls & wraps.
Shawn Grodensky earned a B.S. degree in Commerce and Business Administration with a focus on Management from The University of Alabama in 2008. Shawn also obtained an Associate in Occupational Studies degree from The Culinary Institute of America in 2010.
