Safiyh Taghavi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in biotechnology and sustainable agriculture. Currently serving as the Deputy CTO at Gusto Global LLC since August 2016, Taghavi has previously held significant positions including Director of BioSolutions Research at FMC Corporation and Program Director for Sustainable Agriculture at RTI International. With a solid foundation in microbiology and molecular biology, Taghavi began their career at SCK-CEN and VITO, and has been involved in impactful research at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Taghavi holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from Université libre de Bruxelles, along with an Engineer’s Degree in Chemistry from Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège.
