Dina Segal

Dina Segal has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dina is currently working at Gusto as the Chief Legal Officer. Prior to that, they held the position of Board Member and Co-President at SunLaw Group, a non-profit organization focused on empowering women in house counsel.

Dina also worked at Intuit as an Assistant General Counsel, where they provided legal support to various teams and advised on issues related to data use, privacy laws, and AI principles. Additionally, they led strategic partnership negotiations and integrations with key partners.

Before their time at Intuit, Dina served as the Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at Renovate America, a venture-backed fintech company. In this role, they were responsible for advising leadership teams on a wide range of legal matters, including product, transactional, and marketing-related issues. Dina also served as the Vice President - Associate General Counsel and Associate General Counsel during their tenure at Renovate America.

Prior to that, Dina worked as an Attorney at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, where they represented companies in mergers and acquisitions, assisted with corporate formation and governance, and drafted complex commercial agreements. Dina also gained experience as an Associate Attorney at Winston & Strawn LLP, where they handled tax, antitrust, and commercial litigation matters.

Dina started their legal career as a Summer Associate at Winston & Strawn LLP, and they also worked as an Extern at the Washington Supreme Court, where they conducted legal research and observed court proceedings. Additionally, they served as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Department of Justice, where they worked on international legal issues, including cross-border corruption.
