Michael Cao

Michael Cao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and growth strategy. Currently serving as Principal Product Manager for Growth at Gusto since October 2024, Michael previously held key leadership roles at Propel, Inc. as Director of Product and Head of Growth, and at Adobe, where a progressive career spanned several positions including Group Manager for Product Growth. Michael's early career includes significant contributions as a Software Engineer at NetApp, where innovative tools for performance data were developed, and prior internships at IBM and NetApp where software design and development skills were honed. Michael holds multiple degrees, including an MBA and Master of Science in Design Innovation from Northwestern University and another MBA from IESE Business School, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
