Carla Avruch has extensive work experience in the field of market research, insights, and brand strategy. Carla is currently working as the Director of Client Solutions and Insights at GutCheck, where they lead research studies and provides qualitative research expertise for the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. Prior to their current role, Carla co-founded Saage Insights, a research company specializing in custom qualitative research and brand strategy. Carla has also worked as a Senior Editor/Insights & Trends Analyst at Vandal Agency, where they wrote trend reports and conducted deep-dive research, focusing on brand strategy. Before that, Carla was a Brand Merchandiser at Soft Clothing, providing insights and guidance for retail merchandising and brand communication strategies. Carla began their career as the Director of Consumer Insights at The Zandl Group, managing qualitative consumer research projects and establishing the in-house video production department. Carla has worked with clients such as PepsiCo, Bacardi USA Inc., and Google Accelerator, among others, throughout their career.
Carla Avruch obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Painting & Printmaking from James Madison University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
