Kate Sowder

Kate Sowder has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Kate currently holds the position of Vice President, Research Science at GutCheck, starting in March 2022. Before this role, they served as the Director, Research Science from March 2020 to March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Manager, Research Science from June 2018 to March 2020 and as a Sr. Marketing Scientist from June 2016 to June 2018, both at GutCheck as well.

Before joining GutCheck, Kate worked at SMG - Service Management Group. Kate held the role of Associate Director of Client Services from February 2014 to June 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Research Analyst from January 2012 to February 2014 and as a Research Analyst from June 2009 to January 2012.

Kate's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Instructor at the University of Missouri from August 2007 to May 2009.

Kate Sowder has a solid educational background in the field of mathematics and statistics. Kate earned their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Missouri State University, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Statistics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they attended from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Kate Sowder obtained a certification in Strategic Management and Innovation from the Copenhagen School of Business, hosted by Coursera, in August 2021.
