Vanessa de Capitani

Vanessa de Capitani is an experienced professional with a strong background in human resources, compliance, and communications. Currently serving as the Human Resources & Compliance Manager at Gutter Helmet by Harry Helmet® since February 2013, Vanessa oversees programs for a staff of over 250 across 20 states, handling key areas such as compensation, benefits, and performance management. Prior to this role, Vanessa worked as a Marketing Communications Manager at SevenTwenty Strategies, leading PR campaigns for major clients including CVS Pharmacy and Southwest Airlines. Vanessa's experience also includes positions as a Senior Consultant at Energetics, focusing on communication strategies for the Department of Homeland Security, and as a Legislative Assistant at Chesapeake Enterprises. Vanessa holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus on Public Relations & Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and French from the University of Delaware.
