Kimya Forouzan, MPH, Esq. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of reproductive rights and health. Kimya has held various roles at different organizations, beginning with their current position as the Principal State Policy Associate at the Guttmacher Institute since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Policy Counsel at Compassion & Choices from 2020 to 2023, where they provided legal counsel and drafted statutory language for legislative advocacy. Before that, they served as an If/When/How Reproductive Justice Legal Fellow at the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum from 2019 to 2020, managing advocacy work and conducting legal research for direct client representation. Kimya then pursued further education, earning a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law in 2019. During the same period, they also obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Temple University College of Public Health. In 2013, they had a semester abroad at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid as an international student.
