Maureen Burnley

Maureen B. has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Maureen began their career in 1981 at the United Negro College Fund, where they held various positions of increasing responsibility until 1986. Maureen then worked at Management Consultants from 1987 to 1992 in a finance and administrative role. From 1992 to 1996, they served as the Director of Finance and Administration at the New York City Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Center. Maureen then became the Associate Dean for Administration at The New School, Milano Graduate School from 1996 to 2001. Maureen B. then transitioned to the role of Chief Operating Officer at Family Justice/Vera Institute of Justice from 2001 to 2002. From 2002 to 2012, they served as the Executive Vice-President for Finance and Administration at The General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church. Following that, Maureen B. was the Director of Finance and Administration at Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) from 2012 to 2014. Maureen then held the position of Director of Finance and Administration at Family Care International from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Maureen B. is the Vice President of Finance and Administration at the Guttmacher Institute.

Maureen B. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Baruch College, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they earned another Master's degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from The Ohio State University, completing it between 1979 and 1981. Maureen'sundergraduate studies were conducted at Bryn Mawr College, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from 1974 to 1978. Maureen received their high school education at Walter E. Stebbins High School from 1971 to 1974.
