Ionel Roiban

Ionel Roiban has extensive experience in software development and IT advisory roles, currently serving as an Advisor to the Prime Minister of Romania since May 2020. Prior to this role, Ionel worked as a Senior Software Engineer at PCI, focusing on complex IT applications and hybrid-cloud infrastructure, and as an Application Development Manager at The Weiss Group, Inc., where responsibilities included leading the company's transition to cloud solutions and enhancing web presence. Earlier in Ionel's career, significant contributions were made as a Software Developer/Open Source Evangelist at U-WEB 2.0, as a Senior Web Developer at Stericycle, and as the first Software Developer and Web Architect at RX Automation, where Ionel's efforts contributed to the company's growth and success in the industry. Ionel holds a degree from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
