Anthony Cordonnier

Anthony Cordonnier has a diverse work experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Anthony is currently working as the Global Co-Head of Cyber and Managing Director at Guy Carpenter since September 2021. Prior to that, they spent several years at Swiss Re, where they held various roles and responsibilities. From April 2017 to August 2021, they served as the Director and Head of Reinsurance Cyber Centre, leading a team and spearheading the development of cyber reinsurance underwriting capabilities. Before that, from October 2011 to March 2017, they worked as a Senior Casualty Treaty Underwriter, handling underwriting responsibilities for clients in international, UK, Irish, and Nordic markets. Additionally, they also worked as an AVP in Claims Specialist - Key Case Management, gaining valuable experience in claims management and reinsurance structures. Anthony started their career in the graduates@swissre training program, where they acquired foundational skills and knowledge.

Anthony Cordonnier holds an MBA in International Management from ESCP Business School, which was obtained in 2018. In 2007, they completed their Master of Laws (LLM) in International Trade and Commercial Law from Durham University. In 2006, they received their undergraduate education at Sciences Po Lyon, focusing on Political Science, Public Law, Economics, and Philosophy. Additionally, Cordonnier has obtained various insurance certifications, including Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII), Chartered Insurer, and Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) between 2011 and 2015.
