Christopher Sykes

Christopher Sykes has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Christopher started their career in 1980 at Colonial Mutual, where they worked in general insurance for four years. Christopher then joined Swiss Re as a manager and stayed there for 11 years. In 1994, they joined ReAC as a U.S. Catastrophe Underwriter and served there for six years. In 2000, they moved to General Reinsurance as a Senior Vice President and worked there for eight years. Christopher then joined Guy Carpenter as a Managing Director in 2008. In 2011, they briefly worked at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. as the Director of Strategic Solutions Group before returning to Guy Carpenter as a Managing Director in 2012.

Christopher Sykes completed their Bachelor of Business Administration and Management degree at the University of Technology Sydney from 1981 to 1985. Christopher later pursued a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance at The University of Auckland from 1989 to 1991.
