Enver Karapinar

Enver Karapinar is a highly experienced professional in the reinsurance sector, currently serving as the Head of Facultative Europe & DACH and Managing Director at Guy Carpenter since June 2023, with prior experience as Managing Director at Guy Carpenter & Company GmbH since July 2019. Previously, Enver held positions at AonBenfield Reinsurance Broker as the Head of Property, Engineering and Energy from May 2009 to June 2019, and as Assistant Director at Junge & Co. / CooperGay from 2005 to 2009. Enver's career began at Hannover Re from 1996 to 2001 as a Facultative Underwriter, followed by a role as a Treaty Underwriter at Gen Re from 2002 to 2005. Enver holds a Dipl-Wirt. Ing in Insurance Engineering and an Engineer degree in Industrial Engineering from Cologne University of Applied Sciences, completed between 1990 and 1996.
