Rafael García Escarré has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2020 when they co-founded FARSIDE VENTURES S.L., where they also served as the CEO. In 2019, they became the co-owner and CEO of 101 Ventures, a Global Venture Capital fund specializing in digital early-stage investments. In 2023, they co-founded SEKONDARY and joined the board as a member. Rafael also co-founded The Data Venture in 2020 and served as a board member. In the same year, they co-founded 5G Ventures and Mintknight, where they held board member and senior business advisor positions, respectively. In 2021, Rafael co-founded GUZZU, FrontWave Imaging, Rand Network, and Let's Coder, taking on senior business advisor roles in each company.
Rafael García Escarré's education history includes a variety of degrees and programs in the field of entrepreneurship, business, and engineering. Rafael began their educational journey in 1991 at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a degree in Engineering with a focus on Electric and Electronics Communications, graduating in 1995.
In 2006, Rafael attended the IMD Business Programs, where they studied Strategic Innovation. Following this, in 2008, they completed an Executive Education program at Esade, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
Continuing their academic pursuits, Rafael enrolled at the Universitat Ramon Llull in 2010, where they earned a Philosophy Doctor (PhD) degree in Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies. This program spanned six years, concluding in 2016.
Finally, in 2012 and 2013, Rafael pursued further education at the IESE Business School, focusing on Family Office and Business Angels, enhancing their knowledge and skills in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
