Herman Ong-A-Swie

Herman Ong-A-Swie is an experienced project leader specializing in railway and transportation systems. Currently working as a Project Leader for GVB since June 2017, Herman focuses on the preparation of traction enhancement and sustainability measures for the Amsterdam Metro's energy system. Previous roles include project leadership at Railinfra projecten and Dynniq Nederland, where responsibilities encompassed light and heavy rail projects and engineering modifications for communication systems. With an extensive background in project coordination and design, including roles at Strukton Rail and Verebus Engineering BV, Herman has demonstrated proficiency in managing interdisciplinary teams, overseeing project scopes, and ensuring the successful execution of engineering tasks. Herman holds degrees in Technical Business Administration and Electrical and Information Technology from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
